This Wild Turk- er, I mean, Whiskey Barons Collection release came and went pretty uneventfully back in 2017. But now with the Bourbon Boom dust settled I can appreciate it for what it is, a solid replication of a good ol’ fashioned bottom shelfer. Cheers! New notes on a 2019 WILLETT FAMILY ESTATE RYE SINGLE BARREL. Tap that πŸ”— IN BIO for deets on this, my final bottle ever of Willett Ryeβ€”the rye that made me love ryes. Cheers! San Francisco’s Polk Street is a long stretch of day and night life that spans the gamut of hi and lo culture. Some of the last remaining corners of the β€œreal” SF are found there. Hi-Lo Club is a bit meta in that regard. But the atmosphere is genuinely relaxed, the beer and cocktail menus have something for everyone without feeling generic, and live music fills the room nicely. A good bar to slow down at. Cheers!
