This St George 40th Anniversary release came out in 2022 and despite my being a massive St George fan I passed on it, given the steep msrp—not to mention what some pirate retailers wanted for it! Lingering bottles have finally been put on steep discounts in a place or two. Still cha-ching but I went for it. It’s excellent. Not worth even the sale price I’d say, given how excellent the standard annual release always is. But if you’re a fan of the brand and feel like splurging, the tasting experience won’t disappoint. Cheers! MacLean’s Nose Blended Scotch, easily among my favorite go-to’s and a no brainer buy for the price and quality. If you told me it was a single malt I’d believe you. Great in a Penicillin cocktail or neat all on its own. Sláinte! New notes on a 2016 HENRY McKENNA BiB SiB. Tap that 🔗 IN BIO for deets on this, my final outing with the HMcK brand, and why it will be my last. Cheers!

Now also on THREADS and BLUESKY 🧵🦋🥃
