Nearing the end of this one. Plenty of rye in the Woodinville bourbon mash bill to add a nice spice kick to the tangy caramel and tart apricot notes after 9 years in the barrel. Cheers! Still enjoying this unusual rye whisky from Islay. Bruichladdich’s gamble paid off. I hope they’ve got more still aging. I’d love to try it again at 10+ years. Sláinte! Three northern California single malts—Hirsch, Bodie 5 Dog, St. George. Each distinct. Each distinctly NorCal. Cheers!
