Out of the gate I’m not so sure about this one. Dry like a long dead fallen oak left out to weather. None of the apple sweetness I usually get from Bowman bourbons. We’ll see how it airs out… Cheers! A variation on the Red Hook cocktail. I highly recommend it—and Woody Creek Rye makes a great base. Cheers! This one I found to be meh at first, just another sherry bomb. Very high quality, but boring. But over time it really grew on me. A good reminder of the role time plays in whisky, not just in the barrel but the uncorked bottle too. Cheers!

Now also on THREADS and BLUESKY 🧵🦋🥃
