Testing out this new coupe glass with a Rob Roy (see πŸ“Έ5 for recipe). The glass’s subtle scallops are more visible after a few sips (πŸ“Έ3). The cocktail looked so lovely our backyard hummingbird buzzed by three times to check it out. Almost took a sip on one pass! She would have been pleased. Cheers! Getting toward the end of this one. Such a good swirl of cherry and oak notes, with a tang to it and a sticky syrupy texture to keep it lingering long after the last sip. And look at that color! Not AI, just good old bourbon. Cheers! It’s been a while since I’ve had anything from Breuckelen Distilling. This 7-year single malt aged in a Port cask and bottled at a mighty 130 proof has been lingering in my bunker for a few years. I cracked it open and oh man. This will keep me warm on chilly autumn nights. And it’s dangerously easy sipping for the proof. Wish me luck! Cheers!
