A friend gifted me a handful of Meyer lemons so of course I’ve been putting them toward cocktails. With autumn fully underway, I’ve been using maple syrup as my cocktail sweetener. The combo in 📸1 makes for a great autumnal whiskey sour. A perfect cocktail as the sun prepares to set (📸3) and temperatures drop. Cheers! This Glen Garioch has really grown on me over time. Its edgy and approachable aspects have gradually softened into one another, the bitter outlining the sweet. Has me looking forward to trying the 27-year Glen Garioch I recently picked up. Sláinte! Testing out this new martini glass with a Thyme Martini—2.75oz Roku Gin, 0.25oz Bigallet Thyme Liqueur, 1 dash Regan’s Orange Bitters, 3 castelvetrano olives. The glass works. (So does the martini.) Cheers!
