I’ve been looking forward to this one, having heard good things. Out of the gate it strikes me very much like a sherried scotch. I’m curious how it will evolve with time. Cheers! New notes on BLACK MAPLE HILL SMALL BATCH. Tap that 🔗 IN BIO for deets on this new retro revival from NDP Rare Character. (Plus a special appearance by Knob Creek!) Cheers! Cracked open this Knob Creek 10 Year SiB to compare it to Rare Character’s new Black Maple Hill revival, which tasted quite Knob Creeky to me. (More on that tomorrow.) But this bottle sure does stand on its own. Oak, baking spices, chocolate, cherry. Boom. Cheers!

Now also on THREADS and BLUESKY 🧵🦋🥃
