Not bad. Very herbal, oaky, with dried raspberry adding a bit of sweetness. The last Four Roses OESO I had was a cask strength SiB aged ~10 years and it was also quite dry at uncorking. In time it aired out in a sweeter direction. Perhaps this will do the same. Cheers! New notes on a 2018 bottle of REDBREAST 12 YEAR. Tap that 🔗 IN BIO for deets on this Irish classic in a release from its previous label era. Sláinte! It’s been a minute since I’ve had a McKenzie Rye Single Barrel. The last one was aged ~5 years and was a wild ride. This latest is aged 9 years and I’m hoping age hasn’t tamed its rambunctiousness. Cheers!

Now also on THREADS and BLUESKY 🧵🦋🥃
