New notes on RITTENHOUSE BOTTLED IN BOND SINGLE BARREL aged a lucky 7 YEARS. Tap that 🔗 IN BIO for deets on an older than usual outing of this classic rye. Cheers! When I want a momentary detour from whiskey, I make my way through the many recipes in Alice Lascelles’ excellent book on the Martini. This one is a variation on the Perfect Martini—2oz Botanist Dry gin, 0.25oz each of dry and sweet vermouth, stirred. This “Islay Mystery” was a cask strength single barrel of Ardbeg, aged 26 years. It was bottled by @klwines under their Faultline label. I do hope this early outing in their revived secondary bottling pursuits is a sign of more to come, because this bottle was incredible. Sláinte!
