Poland Bar Hop Pt4: I don’t usually go for hotel bars, but the bartenders at Cloud One Hotel in Gdansk do it up right. During my stay I tried their Old Town house cocktail (recipe 📸7), a Rob Roy with Ardbeg 10, and a Martini made with a Gdansk vodka brand and lime zest. All expertly built and quite good. Plus the bar looks surreal, like you’re floating in champagne. Na zdrowie! New notes on a 2014 PURE KENTUCKY XO. Tap that 🔗 IN BIO for deets on this pre-“Willett” release from Willet’s NDP days. Were those better days for the PKXO? Cheers! Poland Bar Hop Pt3: Located in the Old Town center of Gdansk, the rather literally named Craft Cocktails lives up to its name with an extensive and creative menu. I had the Almost There (recipe 📸 6) and despite being a whiskey cocktail if you’d told me it was a Mojito variation I might have believed you. Very refreshing anyway. And the 1930s art deco atmosphere manages to be both that and casual. Good joint. Na zdrowie!
