Latin American Club in SF’s Mission District is a down and dirty, get it done, yes fun no nonsense dive bar. Margaritas and a pint with a shot sell most, but I had their Adjudicator cocktail—Yebiga Plum Brandy, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, Angostura Bitters. Boozy and befitting the bar’s colorful accumulation of decor. Cheers! Wild Turkey fan? This double oaked small batch blend from @seelbachsspirits aims to approximate the denser, dustier flavor profiles of pre-Prohibition bourbon. I can’t say if they succeeded in that. But they did succeed in making the best Wild Turkey riff I’ve tasted in a long time. Complex, vibrant, dark, with all the classic notes set to extra-rich. Cheers! New notes on a 7-YEAR HEARACH SINGLE MALT cask strength single cask, aged in a ex Buffalo Trace barrel. Tap that 🔗 IN BIO for deets on this singular release from Isle of Harris Distillery. Sláinte!
