This “Islay Mystery” was a cask strength single barrel of Ardbeg, aged 26 years. It was bottled by @klwines under their Faultline label. I do hope this early outing in their revived secondary bottling pursuits is a sign of more to come, because this bottle was incredible. Sláinte! Finally making my first foray into Ardnamurchan. I’ve sipped a few here and there but hadn’t yet brought a bottle home. And this 2025 10 Year makes a mighty impressive intro. It’s right up there with Springbank for complexity and balance. Sláinte! There’s an old play by Anton Chekhov called Three Sisters that I’ve directed adaptations of a few times. I’m ever curious about how siblings can be variations on a theme. This trio of MGP-sourced bourbon bottled by @klwines offers just such an opportunity. Looking forward to how these sisters relate. Cheers!
