New notes on a GLEN GARIOCH 11 YEAR CASK STRENGTH SINGLE MALT. Tap that 🔗 IN BIO for deets on this sweet and edgy Highland scotch whisky. Sláinte! This is my intro to Hard Truth Sweet Mash Rye and it’s a doozy. A cask strength single barrel, bursting with rye spice and apricot on a river of dark chocolate syrup. I’m here for it. Cheers! This St George 40th Anniversary release came out in 2022 and despite my being a massive St George fan I passed on it, given the steep msrp—not to mention what some pirate retailers wanted for it! Lingering bottles have finally been put on steep discounts in a place or two. Still cha-ching but I went for it. It’s excellent. Not worth even the sale price I’d say, given how excellent the standard annual release always is. But if you’re a fan of the brand and feel like splurging, the tasting experience won’t disappoint. Cheers!

Now also on THREADS and BLUESKY 🧵🦋🥃
